Kurtley Beale has been ruled out of the Wallabies June Tests and Super Rugby until July after having surgery to clean out floating cartilage from his left shoulder joint.
Beale was expected to have surgery on Monday and will be closely monitored over the coming days, but the initial assessment is that he will be unavailable for the next 3-4 weeks.
Mark Gerrard has had scans which have revealed that he has avoided any structural damage to his sternum following a heavy collision with Motu Matu'u in Wellington on Saturday, he will be assessed as the week progresses, but remains in contention for selection against the Brumbies.
Motu Matu'u also tackled Lachlan Mitchell and he had to leave the field during the match and has subsequently also had scans on his neck which cleared him of any structural damage. However, Mitchell will be rested this week as a precautionary measure.
