The Waratahs went on to score thirteen tries to one as they smashed Samoa 'A' 83-5 in a Super Rugby pre-season match in Tamworth on Friday.
New South African recruit Sarel Pretorius put in a strong performance for the Waratahs, who lead 38-5 at half time.
The men from New South Wales were able to more than double their lead after the break as they limited the islanders' possession.
Waratahs centre Tom Carter crossed twice on the back of strong drives, while hooker Damien Fitzpatrick was able to score a hat-trick in the second half.
While Samoa were without their regular star recruits who are currently on duty in Europe, the Waratahs blew red hot and will be happy to get their pre-season off to such a strong start.
They will, however, be concerned by a hamstring injury to winger Lachie Turner. The severity of his injury will be assessed in Sydney in the upcoming days.
